Name choices will be subject to approval by Tacugama and FoT, and if a name cannot be agreed then a full refund will be issued. 

All funds raised will go to Friends of Tacugama (Charity Number: 1153204).

*Disclaimer for Naming Rights (2-Year Term)*

Naming rights granted through this initiative are valid for a period of *two (2) years* from the date of installation or official recognition. Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary reserves the right to determine the exact placement, design, and presentation of any naming acknowledgment.

While we deeply value your support, naming rights do not imply ownership, commercial endorsement, or decision-making influence over the sanctuary’s operations, facilities, or programs. Tacugama reserves the right to relocate, alter, or remove signage if required due to maintenance, redevelopment, or other operational needs. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to preserve recognition throughout the full 2-year term.

All naming content is subject to approval by Tacugama to ensure it aligns with our mission and values. Contributions made for naming rights are considered charitable donations and are non-refundable. Name choices will be subject to Friends of Tacugama and Tacugama’s prior approval in their sole discretion. Please note that the ecolodges are not part of this opportunity as they bare the names of chimps from Tacugama.

Auction Terms and Conditions - General

1. All bids are final and binding.
2. Payment is required within seven days of winning the auction.
3. Items are sold "as-is" with no warranties or guarantees.
4. Friends of Tacugama reserves the right to reject any bid or cancel the auction or remove any items from the auction at its discretion, including after the auction.
5. All auction items are subject to availability.
6. Collection of items must occur at the event on 26 June 2025 or postage costs must be paid by the winner bidder (and delivery address provided) within seven days of winning the auction.
7. Some auction items are provided in whole or in part by third parties and the third parties may have their own terms and conditions. The third party may withdraw the offer at any time for any reason including after the auction and, subject to clause 8 below, neither the third party, Friends of Tacugama or Tacugama shall have any liability in connection thereto.
8. Subject to clause 8 below, Friends of Tacugama and Tacuguma shall not have any liability for breach of contract, negligence or any liability arising in any other way out of or in connection with the auction or subject matter of the auction, in respect to any indirect damages or losses, or any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, whether direct or indirect, even if advised of the possibility of those losses or if they were within their contemplation.
9. Subject to clause 8 below, Friends of Tacugama’s, and Tacuguma’s, aggregate liability for all and any breaches of contract, any negligence and any liability arising in any other way out of or in connection with the auction or the subject matter of the auction, will not exceed in total £100.
10. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes any party's liability for any sort of liability that, by law, cannot be limited or excluded.
11. This auction, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this auction.
